Since 1956, Southside Auction Co. has conducted thousands of public auctions for the Probate and Bankruptcy courts, FDIC, insurance companies, attorneys, banks and  private citizens in the instance of divorce settlement, death, insurance claims, federal seizure, relocation, etc. Southside Auction Co. not only conducts public auctions at our privately-owned auction house in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we also conduct public estate sales and auctions "on site" by request of our valued customers. 

Since 2001, Southside Auction Co. has also been actively selling select consignments at online auctions (via Ebay.com  and Gunbroker.com) by request of our valued customers. As a result of our success with online auction sales, our company's name is now recognized both nationally and internationally as a reputable auction house with outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction!     

 Southside Auction Co. was granted a Federal Firearms License in 1996. Our company was the first auction house in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be granted a Federal Firearms License by the ATF.

 Southside Auction Co. is licensed by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission to sell real estate at auction. Our real estate broker is Jim Smith of Smith and Smith, Realtors. Our selected real estate auctioneer, is Beau Williams.

Southside Auction Co. sells all consignments on a "flat-fee" commission rate; therefore, you do not have to worry about "hidden fees" and other unadvertised charges.

We work for the consignor and do our best to get the best money for the items we sell at public auction (If you don't make money, we don't make money!)! Our valued audience is composed primarily of regular customers who are serious collectors and dealers. Over the last 50+ years, we have developed a loyal following of friends and business associates who regulary attend our auctions. Aside from the abilities of the auctioneer, an auction company's most valuable asset is its audience and we have a full house of serious bidders at every auction we conduct!

There aren't many "Old Time" auctioneers left in Tulsa and Bud is regarded as one of Tulsa's best! Bud took tips from a professional cattle auctioneer in Oklahoma and developed a unique style over time. Some auctioneers are too fast (you either can't understand or can't keep up with the bid increments) and some auctioneers are too slow (they just bore you to death repeating the same number over and over!), but Bud seems to be just right...and that's why he's been in this business since the 1960s!
