Our belief is that a public auction is the fastest, most effective and most inexpensive method of generating income from unwanted goods. Nevertheless, a public auction is not always what the consignor is interested in! Sometimes an estate sale / "tag sale" suits the consignor's needs more than an auction. We do not condemn potential customers for wanting to liquidate their unwanted belongings at an estate sale instead of at auction. Some people refer to estate sales as "glorified garage sales" and we think this is a little harsh! Estate sales, when operated in a professional manner, are simply an alternative to a public auction and if that's what somebody wants, that is their choice!

We sell consignments at our estate / tag sales on a commission basis. Commission rates vary according to the needs of the customer and the amount of merchandise involved. Generally, estate sales are conducted over a 2-3 day period. The consignor is usually responsible for all advertising costs. We supply all the materials needed for performing an estate sale (tabes, tablecloths, lights, floor covers, etc.), we take care of the checkout and banking (credit cards, cash, checks accepted) and we take care of the clean-up.

If you have a large house full of merchandise, it can become difficult to liquidate everything in a 2-3 day period! Unlike most estate sale companies, our company can remove the remainder of unsold merchandise from the home and liquidate it at auction to provide you with even more sales results! A public auction eliminates the "left overs," but if you do want to have an estate sale and you do have left overs, we can still help!
