This is Gracie Mae (Maggie). She is an 8 year old Rat Terrier. Poor Gracie Mae came into ARF 6 years ago and was adopted out. Unfortunately her owner got sick and could no longer care for her so she is back with ARF.

Don't let Gracie Mae's age fool you. She is no where near past her prime! She is still an energetic happy dog. Not hyper though! She is housetrained and gets on with other dogs and cats. Not a huge fan of puppies that jump on her but she is a smaller dog. She weighs only 10lbs. She loves to go on walks and will get excited when she sees the leash. She outwalked Pecan on her last walk!

She loves to be around you and snuggle on your lap on the couch. She's there to greet you at the door when you come home. Because she is a smaller dog she would be better with older children that can respect her fragile frame. She enjoys riding in the car with you.

She enjoys playing with toys and had great fun pulling the stuffing out of a little hole she found in one!

Right now she is recovering from some allergies so has a little bald spot on her back but her hair is beginning to grow back nicely. She will be pretty as a picture very soon.

If you would like to meet Miss Gracie Mae she will be showing at the 71st St Petsmart on Fridays from 10-4pm and the 41st St Petsmart on Saturdays from 10-4:30pm. It can also be arranged for her to come out to the auction.

Gracie Mae is already spayed, up to date on her vacinations, tested to be heartworm negative and tattooed. Her adoption fee is $105.00 and you are also asked to purchase 6 months worth of heartworm preventative at the time of adoption.
